Keeping Up A Photoblog In The Winter

I think I shot my last sunset for a while this week.

With the time change tonight it will now be too dark for me to take photos after work. So what do I do until it gets light again in the spring? I suppose I need to try to take more photos in the morning before work, get out more on the weekends, or find some stuff inside the house to take pictures of. Got any ideas of what I can do during the winter so I don’t get the photography blues?

Is It Photoblog Action Day Too?

So today is Blog Action Day where bloggers around the world will post about a single issue – poverty.

A while back when I saw what this years topic was going to be, I wondered if photobloggers might take part in this too, because there seems to be a lot of photographers that like to take pictures of homeless people.

I’m not saying that homeless people should never be photographed, but give treat these people with some decency and just don’t go out and take a picture of them because you need a photo for your blog.  I’ve seen plenty of sites that are filled with homeless photos, perhaps thinking their photography is more real because of this one subject. There’s billions of people in the world- you don’t always need to take pictures of the homeless ones.
