Creative Multitasking

I think I have decided I can do two creative things at a time. The problem is that I currently have three creative jobs/hobbies: Design, Music, and Photography. Over the past few years I’ve noticed how I rotate through my creative tasks, usually focusing on two while a third gets ignored for a little bit.
As the senior web designer at the University of Colorado Boulder, I have spent much of this year designing new sites and cms themes. As a musician I’ve released a couple house music EPs and produced a lot of new tracks.
That means that my photography hasn’t gotten much attention over the past year or so. However, I don’t see the amount of time I spend on music or design going down, so it looks like I need to find a better way to keep taking photos.

Color Decisions

I’ve been looking at the iPhone Bumpers even though I already have a case for my white 4S. Now I just can’t decide which color…
- I’ve always liked blue
- I like that color green
- I’ve been a big fan of orange lately – my car is orange, my sunglasses are orange, my jacket is orange, etc
- The black is nice and simple.

Friendships

How many people have friends that will drive out to an airport just to have lunch with another friend who’s on a layover between flights? I’m lucky to have a bunch of them.

I turned 38 yesterday but find that I feel much younger. I attribute that to that I enjoy my life, my job, and everything that I do.
